Antican Republic to End

Citing money issues pertaining to the maintenance of its national web space, the Republic of Antica has announced that it will cease operation as a micronation on 31 August 2007. Leading citizen Chrimigules noted that “things for the past year now have progressively worsened, and the problem is that there is no solution … we have lost purpose … people … [and] interest. All we are doing now is delaying the inevitable.”

The micronation’s citizenry has solemnly expressed understanding and support for the move to close the micronation. Speaker Braden Indianensis has stated that he will not dissolve the micronation’s legislative assembly despite the impending closure of the forums.
