Attera Proposes new leadership system for the AOM

The Atteran delegate, HIH Ras Bit. Sinclair, at the Assembly of Micronations today proposed a new system by which to run the AOM due to the long absence of the current Secretary General. The proposal would be similar to the United Nations Security Council presidency system, in which member nations spend a month each as the President and are on a rotation system. The Atteran delegation believes that the proposal would be fair and effective, giving all members of the AOM the chance to preside over its meetings, debates, and votes, while minimizing inactivity and dependence on one person to act as Chairman – with that person being the Secretary General.
