Update on the proceedings: Well last night, members of the legislature and a couple of governors continuously refused to participate in the impeachment process – thus causing it to be postponed. The President, Earl Washburn, claims that those people can be charged for refusing to participate in the proceedings, but this is not the case. The President did not inform all participants of the proceedings prior to the beginning; therefore the participants have committed no illegal act in refusing to be a part of the proceedings. It is also important to remember that none of the people who were participating were officially assigned to the Amerada Supreme Court so the various people had no legal right to participate in the trial.
Later tonight, we saw the President make yet another about-face and declared that no trial for Mr. Weatherhead would be held after all and that the impeachment proceedings had stopped against the Vice-President.
