Elections for the New Columbia legislature were held this weekend. The Republican Conservative Alliance of Amerada (RCAA) won 5 seats of the ten, the Democratic Liberal Party of Amerada (DLPA) 3, and the Monarchist Society of Amerada (MSA), 2. The National Party (separatists) won no seats in the election. Peter Little remains governor of New Columbia for another 4 years. This is considered by the leadership of the DLPA to be a humiliating defeat. Governor Sinclair congratulated his RCAA counterpart in New Columbia on his victory.
