This week saw the return of the bulk of New Macadamians from their Kiwi summer vacation. The head of the New Macadam Bank has begun updating accounts that have remained silent, like the nation, for more than a month. However, the nation is still crippled as citizens await the results of the General Election on February 01, 2002. Once the new senate is appointed in February, it is expected that the nation will be back to its vibrant self of passing legislation every few days. The Nut, New Macadam’s paper, is still so desperate for stories that it’ll pay for them and that won’t change even if the senate gets active again! New Macadam has approximately nine citizens and one or two honorary citizens.
