The Royal Institute of Micronational Antiquities has launched its first annual essay contest in an effort to encourage the further development of historical record in the Anglophone micronational sector.
The topic for this year’s essay is, appropriately, “my micronational experience” in which the author of the essay can discuss any specific part of his/her participation in micronationalism or broadly cover his/her history within the community. The top prize for the contest is GTh300.00 (provided the winner hold an account with the Royal Bank of Commerce in Gotzborg) and publication of the essay in the December 2005 monthly issue of the RIMA Journal.
Participation in the contest is a great way of not only bringing more historical resources to the community, but also for advertising the micronations in which you participate. With the top prize, your essay will be included in the most widely read micronational news publication of the Anglophone Sector.
Those interested have until 31 October 2005 to submit the essay and further details can be found posted at the RIMA forum in Gotzborg.
